About the Department

The Department of Sociology at T.M. Shah Mahila Arts College was established to provide students with a scientific understanding of social life, social change, and the social causes and consequences of human behavior.

Our curriculum covers various aspects of social institutions, culture, and community development. We focus on preparing students to understand complex social issues and contribute positively to social reform and the development of a balanced society.
